A few chapters.
Still building.

I grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago, with deep family roots in aviation. My grandfather was a U.S. Air Force pilot, and airshows and aviation events were a regular part of my childhood. That connection to flying came long before the first drone I built.

What followed took me from FPV aircraft and a YouTube channel to Air Force service, DJ booths around the world. Today, those experiences come together in my work at Parallax.

Build it.
Fly it. Film it.

Before I joined the military, I was building and flying FPV drones as Mr Odyssey. The aircraft were hands-on projects: putting together frames and electronics, soldering, tuning, repairing, and heading back out to fly.

The Mr Odyssey FPV channel became a place to share that process. I posted the builds, time at the field, and flights from the aircraft’s point of view. I wanted to show what I was making and bring other people into the experience of flying it.

During those early years, I was a Futaba-sponsored pilot. It is a part of my story I’m proud of, from the team shirt and transmitter to the little aircraft that started it all.

A different kind
of responsibility.

At 18, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The interest in equipment and how things work was still there, but now it came with a team, a mission, and much greater responsibility.

This chapter included EOD school, field training, time with robotic systems, and the people I served alongside. These are a few moments from that part of my life.

A few years
on the move.

After leaving the Air Force, I spent a few years traveling and DJing all over. As DJ ØDDY, music took me from rooms across the U.S. to clubs in Japan and Singapore.

That included Club Camelot and BAIA in Tokyo, Chupitos in Singapore, and shows back in North Dakota. Each place brought a different crowd and a different night behind the decks.

Music also became a way to make things happen close to home, bringing people together through events like Hot Brunch in Minot. The photos, mixes, and show archive tell that part of the story.

Back to flight.
Building forward.

Today, I’m based in Dayton, Ohio, and am the founder and CEO of Parallax Solutions. My work centers on custom UAS design, prototypes, and training systems.

The early aircraft builds, military experience and creative work all feed into what I do now. Music and FPV are still part of my life, and there is plenty left to build.
