Ideas made real.

A camera, a workshop, a new problem to solve. These are the businesses I’ve built and the work behind them.

Building now

From design to a working prototype.

Parallax brings together my background in building, flight and hands-on problem solving. The work spans custom UAS design, small-batch prototypes, training and detection evaluations.

I start with the practical questions: what does the system need to do, how will it be built, and how will someone use it? This archive follows that process from CAD layouts to assembled frames and flight prototypes.

Parallax Arena explores another side of that work: interactive drone systems that introduce people to robotics and drone awareness.

Business sold

Making something people could take home.

I founded and operated ARF Studio, turning ideas into custom plaques, signs, gifts and fabricated pieces. Projects ranged from layered wooden awards and engraved flags to framed displays, personalized parking signs and Rank Rat figures.

I handled the work from design files through production, combining CAD/CAM, CNC machining, laser cutting and engraving, and 3D printing. Alongside the workshop, I managed pricing, orders and customer communication. I later sold the business to a new owner.

Weekends behind the camera.

While serving in the U.S. Air Force as an EOD technician, I spent my weekends building SS Video Production. I filmed automotive features and rolling shots, then edited them into films and social content.

The camera car was a custom 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T. A rear-mounted Tilta Hydra Alien arm and DJI RS2 stabilized gimbal let me capture low, moving angles, with camera controls and a video feed routed to the passenger seat.

Stance Auto covered SS Video Production and the custom camera car, including how I balanced automotive filmmaking with my EOD service. These are photos of the printed feature and its issue cover.
